O início das atividades

História

O Fórum Agro MT teve a sua fundação em meados do ano 2014, por inciativa de algumas lideranças do setor agropecuário. Havia naquele momento a participação de várias entidades mato-grossenses do setor, em outra entidade fundada anteriormente, o IPA Instituto Pensar Agro, que mantém em seu escopo a defesa dos interesses do setor junto aos membros da Frente Parlamentar da Agropecuária no Congresso Federal em Brasília.

Nesse cenário, após conversas e entendimentos entre algumas entidades de MT, iniciou-se o planejamento em direção a fundação de uma entidade local, para atuar em nível Estadual, de maneira semelhante.
